The Woofstock Experience 2010..Wag-A-Lot is the opening act for the Durham Central Park Warehouse Blues Concert Series on Sunday September 26, 2010

On Sunday, September 26th, DPR will be hosting it’s 7th annual Woofstock Experience at Durham Central Park beginning at 2:00 p.m.

Immediately following the popular canine event, stick around and listen to the great blues music of Drink Small & Hubby Jenkins.

The performances are part of the Durham Central Park Warehouse Blues Concert Series, and are free and open to the public. Bring a cooler (no alcoholic beverages) and a lawn chair and sit back and enjoy. Come early and attend Woofstock and may be you’ll be introduced to your new best friend.
What better way to soothe the blues, then a canine friend to chase them away.

Drink Small:
“Drink Small has the biggest, deepest bass voice in the blues. His amazingly expressive sound falls right in between B.B. King and Bo Diddley. But Drink’s got a little something extra. I think it’s his gospel background.” -Mapleshade Records

Hubby Jenkins:
Hubby Jenkins, who lives and performs throughout New York City, is a young, gentle-spirited musician influenced by the likes of Leadbelly and Charlie Patton. Hubby is a solo, acoustic blues performer and a virtuosic slide guitarist.

Independent Animal Rescue will be holding their annual Holiday Bazaar and Bake Sale today, at the South Square Petco from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.
They will have a bake sale, seasonal goodies, gift and craft items.

Independent Animal Rescue is an all volunteer group that fosters dogs & cats until they can be placed in their permanent homes.
